"Den värsta vetenskapliga skandalen i vår generation"
Ja, så säger Christopher Booker på engelska The Telegraph. Nu är han ju inte precis ensam om att tycka att ClimateGate både existerar och är en skandal av pyramidala dimensioner. Det vimlar av tunga vetenskapsmän och annat kunnigt folk i medier av såväl gammal typ som de med lite mer modern touch, och alla är de både upprörda och förbannade.
Och här i Sverige är det tystare än i en svensk trollskog en lugn kuslig natt. Lite utdrag kan vara på sin plats, men läs gärna hela artikeln, den engelska läsövningen är värd det:
"...Their importance cannot be overestimated, What we are looking at here is the small group of scientists who have for years been more influential in driving the worldwide alarm over global warming than any others, not least through the role they play at the heart of the UN's Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC)..."

Och hur länge skall nu våra kaxiga svenska tidningar kunna hålla den här skandalen utanför sina tryckpressar? Inte länge för nu händer det ytterligare saker (självfallet inte rapporterat i de svenska medi..., ja ni fattar). I samma tidning idag stå det att läsa att samtliga data skall lämnas ut, självfallet med lite fördröjning (så brukar de göra och det är svårt att lära gamla bovar sitta). Så det rör på sig!
"In a statement welcomed by climate change sceptics, the university said it would make all the data accessible as soon as possible, once its Climatic Research Unit (CRU) had negotiated its release from a range of non-publication agreements.", så står det i The Telegraph och Robert Mendick skrev.
Sen förbereds det faktiskt lite åtal också, mot skurkarna. Men i Sverige är det tyst. Det är helt enkelt skamligt!
Karin Bojs i DN är en tunn rapportör och hon bemöter skandalen med det sanslösa: "Nej, nej, nej tro dem inte!". Det är hennes seriösa och "tunga" analys av läget! När till och med Guardian's George Monbiot, en stor tillskyndare av synpunkten att vi människor påverkar klimatet i stor omfattning, uttrycker sig "...has expressed total shock and dismay at the picture revealed by the documents...". Karin säger nej, nej, nej och George är totalt chockad och bestört.
Sen tror jag Karin och Svd:s Susanna Baltscheffsky har något ihop, för de rapporterar likadant, om de nu rapporterar vilket också sker på samma sätt av båda — det vill säga inte alls om det inte passar deras världsbild.
Jag vet vem jag ställer min tillit till!
